Not sure any of this is important to help you find a solution or not. Two subject matter on Combo box and other objects began moving.

After saving as 2010, all files would display properly when tabbed though, full Combo Box layouts intact, multiple files open on screen, no issue. Until saved, closed and re-opened, you could not view more than one file properly at a time. The only way I could again see the files original screen version was to file save as in 2010 format, close, re-open and original sheet layout was back in place. Changing to alternate sheets or programs had no effect on files screen display. When returning to first file, it also no longer displayed all of the Combo Boxes placed on sheet either, only some The Combo Boxes on first file showed up in position and fine, second file opened some were missing from view, same on third file opened. During initial set up to change everything looked okay until on same computer, I brought up a second and thirdįile. I have tried to continue running files from the 97-2003 version in Compatibility Mode of 2010.

We are in process of upgrade to all 2010 Office. Check Boxes will often along with dimensionalĬhange, fill in text font area making text illegible. I have seen it change row size height and column size width of the boxes. The program will also change the box size dimensions.

The only way toįix this change is by unlocking sheet and manual movement back to original location. However if the sheet is accidentally saved with the boxes out of place, this will be their new permanent location. Print Preview in Excel, any other program, other Excel files will return the problem sheet back to original layout on return. You can get the movement to return to original state by doing almost any new view and return. When the movement of theīoxes is noticed, if you change the current sheet you are on and then come back to the problem sheet, the boxes will have shifted back to their original location. Movement shifts to the left 2-3 columns from original set point. The 2010 program will pick all of them up and shift there placement on sheet. These files were in use for several years under the 97-2003 version without issue. Nothing unusual, and all of the controls are property set to "Dont move or size with cells". The files have manyįorm Control- Combo List Boxes and Check Boxes for users to choose response from, a cell is linked to each box response. I cannot recreate the issue on demand, it happens at what seems to be random moments. Running 2010 program, not sure what you mean by "build", but all of the files in use having this difficulty, are converted to 2010 from 97-2003 Excel. You can try right clicking on the form control and choose Format Control | Properties | "Don't move or size with cells" Describe the behavior you are seeing and simple steps to reproduce what you are seeing. Need some more details from you regarding this:
